Here is the letter that I wrote to the director of the Vienna Arts Society:

Ms. Cousins:

Thank you so much for hosting the book event of The Boys From Hicks Drive Vienna Virginia. Since this is the first time I’ve participated in such a function, I really didn’t know what to expect. But, with your guidance and expertise, along with the efforts of a tireless Operations Director, Michaelann Florimbio, I’m confident this will be a huge success.

Word of mouth is spreading quickly. Facebook announcements are ongoing. Signs have been ordered. I will send individual invitations to the Town Council and Fairfax Supervisors. And, I attempted to post an event in the Post, but I’m not sure how that works, since a third-party makes those announcements. I should know the details soon.
